I liked last week, although now I can't remember which episode it was...I'm watching this week right now.

I didn't watch tonight since it was a repeat and the R&R Hall of Fame was on but I'm really looking forward to next week! It looks like they're rampin' things up!
Goodness gracious, that was a cliffhanger! I thought there was so great character and relationship building stuff in this episode. I would guess it was the finale with them sending his mom off, but they said the second part of the show would continue next week.
I liked it when Kate said that Castle "touches things," Tweedledum/cop-with-the-girlfriend suggested he should be played by James McEvoy, Kate's jealously, the importance of whether the suspect was left-handed or right-handed, and the federal agent suggesting that they slept with each other and she is rarely wrong made me laugh. As always, great Castle family moments. It was sweet when he said he would support her no matter what decision she made and then mentioned the last guy.
For next week (spoiler for speculation only--don't read if you haven't watched this episode):
Spoiler:
Is Kate really dead? I suppose it's possible, as I haven't read any spoilers. They could have been setting up fed agent to take her place. Or did her answering her phone set off something else, and they are tricking us? Also, who is the actual killer?

really kill her just as they are starting to become closer. If not, though, the promo was pretty convincing at editing her out. I wonder if she was kidnapped? Also, I wonder who is still in the list of suspects. Taxidermist? Guy missing one finger? The federal agent who seemed too interested in their love life (seemed to confuse fiction with reality, could have planted several of the things like the comment about arson--no idea why she would do it though after all those years of solving crimes).

I was still shocked despite the promos!! There wasn't time for her to get anywhere, even in the bathtub after she heard the beeping. Hopefully, she dove to the floor!
I was pretty surprised about how Jordan made Kate feel so inadequate. And, it seemed she was doing it on purpose.
Spoiler:
In fact, for a little bit there, I thought she might have been in on the murders but realized that there was no way.
The promo for next week is confusing. No Kate shown and it seems Jordan tracks down the killer, someone we've never seen, and then is somehow overwhelmed and tied up. Then, Richard is firing a gun!! WTH??!!
ETA: You make a good point about how Jordan was confusing fact and fiction as far as Kate and Nikki go. Hm....
My take on next week.............just a guess mind you, Beckett alive but banged up and Fed dead.
I loved Mom watching old Hulk footage with her playing a reporter and Castle asking if it was a wedding tape !
I haven't read anything about Susan Sullivan leaving the show but who knows.
I also learned that pancakes mean thank you.

Yeah, I thought I loved seeing her watch herself on "The Incredible Hulk"! I had forgotten SS was in that show. What Richard asked her was hilarious!
Yeah, I didn't realize that pancakes have a message other than YUM.
